Chief Medical Officer
How is weight loss medication prescribed?
A doctor reviews your medical history, weight, and blood tests (if required). Only if clinically appropriate will a prescription be issued.
What does treatment involve?
Treatment usually includes doctor-prescribed medication (e.g. GLP-1 medications), combined with lifestyle recommendations and ongoing monitoring.
How long until I notice results?
Some patients see changes within the first few weeks, with more significant weight loss typically occurring over several months.
How much does treatment cost?
Subscription – $250/month
Includes unlimited doctor consultations, unlimited messaging, personalised treatment plan, patient support, and portal access.
Medication – $600-$800 every 2–3 months (varies by dose).
Injection Supplies – Included with medication price.
Is it covered by Medicare?
No. Our service is 100% privately billed.
We have no Medicare rebates for consultations, no bulk billed blood tests and no PBS funding on medications.
What are the side effects?
Side effects depend on the medication but can include nausea, digestive upset, or changes in appetite. Your doctor will explain risks and provide monitoring.
